How to "rip" CDs to MP3 files using Windows Media Player
- Open Windows Media Player
- Click on "Tools"
- Click on "Options"
- Click on the "Rip Music" Tab
- Underneath "Rip Settings," click the selection arrow next to "Format"
- Choose "MP3" from the drop down menu
- Click "OK"
- Insert CD into CD-Rom.
- Click on "Rip CD" button.
